Do you know how to use Quick Books?

PHEF is looking for someone to take over the management of the PHEF Treasury for next year.  PHEF would like to find someone who knows how to use Quick Books and has some experience managing financial records.  The outgoing treasurer has everything in order and can provide a list of tasks so the new Treasurer will have a smooth transition.  The job requires only about 3 hours a month in addition to attending monthly PHEF meetings.  This would be a great way for you to contribute to your school and would add a line to your resume. If you are interested, please contact Barb Webb at .

Consider getting involved with PHEF next year!

The Placer Hills Education Foundation needs more support to stay strong in the coming years.  As the children of PHEF Board members and volunteers graduate from Weimar and move on to Colfax, new families need to step up and fill those shoes. Since 2005 PHEF has provided an avenue for families to financially support education in our district.  Because of PHEF, the PHUSD has been able to provide numerous programs and technology that would not otherwise be available within the District budget.  To keep PHEF, and our schools, strong we need your involvement!  The Board meets once a month to plan fundraising, make decisions about grant requests from teachers and the district, discuss marketing efforts, and write grant proposals for outside grant money.  If you would like to learn more about how you can get involved with PHEF please contact Barb Webb at or feel free to attend the next PHEF Board Meeting.  Meetings will be announced in upcoming Walkhomes.
