Home About Us Who We Are
Who are we? The Placer Hills Education Foundation was created by
a group of concerned citizens committed to educational excellence in
our local schools. The mission of this broadly based, independent
organization is to build community support and raise funds to preserve
and enrich the quality of education for students in the Placer Hills
Union School District.
Local schools have a proven track record. Placer Hills Union
School District has superior schools. Two of our three schools earned a
perfect 10 on the 2005 California Department of Education Academic
Performance (API) Statewide Ranking. All three of our schools
exceeded the academic goals set by the State. PHUSD test scores rank in
the top 10% of all State elementary school districts and our schools
have repeatedly received the coveted California Distinguished School
Award. However, one has to ask, in the face of severe budget
cuts, how long can the district remain on top?
Schools are a community asset. Schools play a key role in
building a strong community, safe neighborhoods, high property values,
viable businesses, and civic pride. It is in everyone’s best
interest to help our schools succeed.
Your help is needed. To ensure our schools and community thrive, we
are asking you to donate to our Founding Campaign. Please take a
moment to review the enclosed brochure, detailing the benefits and
privileges associated with joining our campaign, and complete the
pledge card. Join us as a Founder, Advocate or Partner of Placer Hills
Education Foundation with your tax-deductible donation today.
Your contribution will make a difference!
