Weimar Hills School FIRST Lego League Robotics Team and Advanced Robotics students get into HydroDynamics Challenge!
In response to the FLL Challenge which was revealed in late August, five WHS students have formed the team called Larry’s Elements, and are working hard to prepare for their Tournament in mid-November.
Both the team and our five Advanced Robotics students are taking on the challenge of the Robot Game and working to solve as many missions on this season’s challenge field with their robots as possible.
The Team must also be ready to be judged on more that what their robots can do. At the Tournament, presentation of the Research Project and the way teams incorporate the Core Values of FLL are judged in addition to Robot Design and Robot Performance. This year, FLL teams are researching the way humankind finds, transports, uses and disposes of water, so they will be developing an innovative solution to a problem in the Human Water Cycle.
Please watch for Larry’s Elements to have a booth and game at the Fall Carnival at Sierra Hills where they will be sharing the details of their Project idea.
Congratulations to the Weimar Robotics Team!
